Paul Rudolph was a celebrated architect known for many buildings built in the modern style of Brutalism, often for city governments or educational institutions. This short documentary film deals with the personality, conflicts and working environment of the late architect. From his education at the Harvard Graduate School of Design to his chairmanship of the Department of Architecture at Yale, Rudolph cast a larger-than-life presence that was both revered and underestimated.
