German couple Robert and Louis have been dreaming about having a child for years, before asking Louis' sister Svenja to be the surrogate mother. The 3 meet at a lakeside on a warm summer night so Svenja can be inseminated. But Svenja decides to invite her boyfriend Ulf, who is completely unaware of the situation. As the evening unfolds it becomes clear that everyone has their own hidden agenda.
