Soch is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language thriller film directed by Sushen Bhatnagar and produced by Dr. Jayantilal Gada. The film follows the life of Raj Matthews (played by Sanjay Kapoor), a successful businessman who loves his wife (played by Raveena Tandon) dearly. However, his life takes a turn for the worse when Raj's best friend, Sanjay (played by Arbaaz Khan), starts an affair with his wife. The situation quickly spirals out of control and takes a deadly turn.
The opening scene of the movie sets the eerie tone, with the camera panning over a dark and ominous-looking forest. The scene quickly shifts to Raj and his wife, Preeti, enjoying a carefree evening. Their happiness is short-lived as soon after, Preeti is whisked away by her friend Rosa (played by Aditi Govitrikar). Preeti is unaware that this trip will lead to her life being turned upside down.
One of the most intriguing aspects of the movie is the way the characters are crafted. Raj is depicted as a man who is used to getting what he wants and is also shown to have a darker side. Preeti, on the other hand, is portrayed as a loving and devoted wife who is powerless in the face of her husband's anger. Sanjay is a complex character, who is both a loyal friend to Raj and a man who pursues his friend's wife.
As the events of the movie unfold, the tension builds steadily. The audience is left on edge as they watch the main characters navigate treacherous waters. The film is full of twists and turns, which keep the viewers' attention throughout.
The movie's soundtrack is also noteworthy, with a mix of haunting melodies and intense beats. The music complements the storyline well, adding to the overall feel of the movie. The filming locations are also visually stunning, with the movie taking place in various parts of India.
The movie manages to touch on several themes such as infidelity, jealousy, and revenge. The audience is given a glimpse of a society where relationships are broken and trust is shattered. The movie also showcases how people can use their wealth and connections to influence those around them.
Overall, Soch is a well-crafted movie that keeps the viewers on edge with its intricate storyline and strong performances. The film manages to balance suspense, romance, and drama, making it an engaging watch.
