Skin Trade is a gripping action-thriller that follows two cops who are on a mission to take down a ruthless human trafficking ring. The film stars Dolph Lundgren as Nick Cassidy, a New York City detective who is determined to bring the perpetrators to justice after his family is killed by the same organization. Tony Jaa plays Tony Vitayakul, a Bangkok cop who is also on the hunt for the traffickers after several young girls are kidnapped from his city.

The movie opens with a high-speed chase through the streets of New York City. Nick Cassidy and his partner are pursuing a group of men who are suspected of trafficking young women into the country. The chase ends in a spectacular car crash that leaves both cops injured and several traffickers dead. Cassidy is devastated to learn that his wife and daughter were killed in the crossfire, and he makes it his mission to find the people responsible for their deaths.

Meanwhile, in Bangkok, Tony Vitayakul is investigating a string of disappearances of young girls who have been forced into prostitution. After a brutal fight with one of the traffickers, Tony discovers a connection between the Bangkok gang and the New York operation. He realizes that the two organizations are working together to transport girls across international borders.

As the two cops begin to unravel the complex web of the trafficking ring, they encounter obstacles at every turn. Ron Perlman plays Viktor Dragovic, the head of the trafficking network, who will stop at nothing to protect his business. Dragovic is a brutal man who uses violence and intimidation to control his associates.

The action in the film is fast-paced and intense, with plenty of fight scenes and gun battles. The fight choreography is impressive, with Tony Jaa showcasing his skills in a number of spectacular stunt sequences. Dolph Lundgren also holds his own in the action scenes, proving that he still has what it takes to play a convincing action hero.

One of the standout features of Skin Trade is the way it deals with the issue of human trafficking. The film is unflinching in its portrayal of the horrors that young women face when they are forced into the sex trade. It is a difficult subject to tackle, but the filmmakers handle it with sensitivity and respect. The movie makes it clear that trafficking is an international problem that requires a united effort to combat.

In addition to the action, the film also has some strong emotional moments. Lundgren gives a convincing performance as a man who is consumed by grief and anger. He is determined to bring his family's killers to justice, but he also realizes that he needs to move beyond his own pain in order to help others who have been victimized.

Overall, Skin Trade is a solid action movie that is elevated by its powerful themes and strong performances. It is a thought-provoking film that sheds light on an important issue, while also delivering plenty of thrills and entertainment. Fans of the genre will not be disappointed with this one.

Skin Trade is a 2015 thriller with a runtime of 1 hour and 35 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.6 and a MetaScore of 39.
