SiREN is a 2016 horror-thriller film directed by Gregg Bishop and written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski. This movie was released on December 2, 2016, and is a feature adaptation of one of the segments from the horror anthology V/H/S. The film revolves around Jonah (Chase Williamson) and his friends, who decide to take him on a bachelor party trip to a seedy underground club. Upon arriving at the club, they gift Jonah a private dance with a beautiful and exotic dancer named Lily (Hannah Fierman).

However, during the dance, Jonah realizes that he has been lured into a den of demons and he finds himself having to fight for his life against the supernatural creatures that inhabit the club. As he tries to escape, he uncovers the secrets of the club as well as the origins of Lily.

The central antagonist of the film is a seductive demon named Lily, who has a supernatural ability to hypnotize and influence the men she dances for. She is a silent and mysterious entity, and her character gives off an eerie and unsettling vibe throughout the movie.

Chase Williamson delivers a stunning performance as the protagonist Jonah. His natural acting and intense portrayal of his character's fear and desperation make it easy for the audience to root for him. Meanwhile, Hannah Fierman delivers a mesmerizing and supernatural portrayal of Lily. Her character is seductive, alluring, and frightening at the same time, which is symbolic of the movie's overall theme of succumbing to temptation and giving in to one's primal desires.

Furthermore, Justin Welborn plays the club owner, who is the mastermind behind the demon's operation. Welborn efficiently portrays his character as a ruthless businessman who has made a deal with Lily, and will stop at nothing to ensure that his bargain is fulfilled.

From the cinematography to the direction, SiREN has a distinct and darkly appealing aesthetic. The set design and lighting create an ambiance that is both haunting and provocative, and every frame of the movie feels like a snapshot out of a fever dream.

One of the most interesting aspects of the movie is the way it explores the idea of temptation, free will, and the consequences of our choices. Through Jonah's journey, the movie makes a commentary about the way society is driven by lust and how it often leads to our downfall.

SiREN blends the themes of the supernatural with the contemporary world in a unique and thrilling way. The film successfully reinvents the V/H/S short by expanding on its universe and creating a gripping and unsettling horror film that can stand on its own.

Overall, SiREN is a must-see for horror fans who love suspenseful thrillers that keep them on the edge of their seats. From the first frame to the last, this movie is a haunting and mesmerizing tale that will make you think twice before giving in to your darkest desires.

SiREN is a 2016 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 23 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.3 and a MetaScore of 54.
