Shiner is a drama film that was released in 2004. The film centers on two boxers who love hurting each other, and frequently meet up outside of the ring to beat each other up. This behavior does not simply stop with the two of them. One of the boxers has a girlfriend who he involved in an abusive relationship with. The second boxer has long been stalked by a homosexual man, and he begins to stalk him in return. This eventually flowers into another abusive relationship. The film explores sadomasochism, and how it can quickly turn into something that no one involved can control.
