Shaolin Warrior is a 2013 action film directed by Dou Xiao and starring Ye Jianwei, Chen Ke, and Liu Ruicheng. The story follows a young man named Wu Shaoxiang, who seeks to become a martial arts master and honor his family's legacy. The film opens with a young Wu Shaoxiang living in a village with his father, grandfather, and sister. His father, Wang Tianlong, was once a great martial artist who taught at the Shaolin Temple but has since retired to devote his time to fishing. Wu Shaoxiang idolizes his father and dreams of following in his footsteps.

One day, a group of bandits led by the ruthless Xie Jie arrives in the village and demands that the villagers pay them tribute. When Wang Tianlong refuses to comply, Xie Jie challenges him to a fight. Wang Tianlong is defeated, and Xie Jie orders his men to burn the village and kill everyone in it.

Wu Shaoxiang and his sister manage to escape, but their father is left behind and presumably killed. Devastated by the loss of his father and the destruction of his village, Wu Shaoxiang sets out to seek revenge and become a great warrior like his father.

He travels to the Shaolin Temple and is taken in as a disciple by the abbot. There, he meets other young disciples, including the ambitious Zeng Hao and the mischievous Tang Zhen. Wu Shaoxiang trains diligently and soon rises through the ranks, earning the respect of his fellow disciples and the admiration of the abbot.

However, Wu Shaoxiang's thirst for revenge threatens to consume him. When he learns that Xie Jie and his men are planning a raid on the Shaolin Temple, he disregards the abbot's orders to stay put and sets out to face Xie Jie alone.

The ensuing battle is intense and grueling, with both warriors pushing themselves to their limits. Wu Shaoxiang's training and determination are put to the test as he faces off against Xie Jie and his skilled fighters. The fate of the Shaolin Temple and its disciples hangs in the balance.
