Set in the war-torn country of Malaysia, this film tells the story of a young man named Velayudhan. Velayudhan is a boy who never truly had a great childhood. He had the misfortune of growing up in an area that was constantly plagued by violence and corruption. As he grows older he too joins the forces that have been causing all the chaos. In the midst of a street war with a rival gang, Velayudhan does something he never thought possible, he ends up killing his best friend. Things become extremely complicated as Velayudhan's mother runs into the mother of the deceased boy while praying at a temple.
