Watch Shades

Max Vogel is a former lawyer turned film producer who is looking to cash in on the story of a Belgian serial killer named Freddy Lebecq. In order to try and get the story produced into a big-budget Hollywood movie, Vogel makes shady deals and tries to go behind everyone’s back to get the film made, deceiving the victims, the killer’s lawyer, and even the killer Lebecq himself. Lebecq owns the book rights to his story, and starts to believe that if the movie is made, it will hurt his case, and goes to brutal means to stop it all from happening.

Shades is a 1999 drama with a runtime of 1 hour and 36 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.2.
