Seven Sundays is a touching Filipino family drama movie released in 2017. It tells the story of the Bonifacio siblings - Allan, Bryan, Cha, Dex, and Gabbie - who reunite with their father, Manuel Bonifacio, after learning about his terminal illness. Despite their differences and unresolved conflicts, the siblings come together to grant their father's final wish to spend seven Sundays together as a family before he dies.

The movie begins with a scene where Manuel Bonifacio (played by Ronaldo Valdez) is in a hospital bed, diagnosed with a rare medical condition called Pulmonary Fibrosis. He decides not to undergo any medical treatment and chooses to spend his remaining time with his children. He has five adult children who are all busy with their own lives and have not been in touch with their father for a long time. The children include Allan (played by Aga Muhlach), the eldest and the most successful businessman in the family, Bryan (played by Dingdong Dantes), a married man with a failed business, Cha (played by Cristine Reyes), the ambitious real estate agent who is always after her next sale, Dex (played by Ronaldo Valdez's real-life son, AJ Muhlach), the youngest and the only one who still lives with his father, and Gab (played by Enrique Gil), who is estranged from the family and has a strained relationship with his father.

Manuel gathers his children on a Sunday and reveals his condition to them, informing them that he has only a few weeks left to live. He requests his children to spend the next seven Sundays together as a family, hoping to reconcile with them and make amends for his mistakes. Initially, the siblings are hesitant and reluctant to agree, given their differences and past misunderstandings. But, eventually, they agree to their father's request and start spending their Sundays together.

The Bonifacio family spends the first Sunday together at a beach resort, remembering their childhood memories, playing games, and enjoying a meal together. However, tensions arise as the brothers start arguing about their father's decision to make Allan the head of the family business. Allan defends himself, stating that he deserved his position as he was the most qualified and experienced among the siblings. Bryan, in turn, criticizes Allan for not being around enough for their father, to which Allan replies that he was busy trying to provide for their family. Cha speaks up and tries to mediate the situation, emphasizing the importance of spending time together as a family.

As the Sundays pass, the Bonifacio siblings start getting closer and understand their father's perspective, recognizing his sacrifices and love for them. Allan tries to make amends with his ex-wife and children, Bryan and his wife try to conceive a child again, Cha learns to take a break from work and enjoy life, Dex learns to stand up for himself, and Gab reconciles with his father and siblings.

Throughout the film, there are flashbacks that depict the siblings' childhood and their relationships with their father. These flashbacks provide context and emotional depth to the characters, showing the viewers the root of their tensions and misunderstandings.

The performances of the cast are remarkable, especially Ronaldo Valdez, who plays the patriarch of the Bonifacio family. His portrayal of a dying father who wants to reconnect with his children is sincere and heart-wrenching. Aga Muhlach and Dingdong Dantes also stand out with their powerful performances, showcasing their versatility as actors.

Seven Sundays is a touching and emotional movie that celebrates the importance of family, forgiveness, and reconciliation. It serves as a reminder to the viewers to cherish their loved ones and spend quality time with them.
