This is a documentary movie about the ruins of the Mayan culture. They inhabited a very large area of Central and South America, but disappeared. This documentary attempts to find the answers to their cultural achievements and their mysterious passing. At the height of their empire, the Mayans ruled much of Central America and parts of South America. They left behind thousands of ruins that have survived centuries of jungle heat and humidity. This documentary takes a look at the ruins to explore the culture.

There is no written history of this culture. Their achievements are engraved on the ruins they left. This movie uses aerial views of the ruins to outline the issues.
