In 2013, the iconic crime-solving gang made up of Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma returned in a new adventure in the animated film "Scooby-Doo! Adventures: The Mystery Map." Directed by Jomac Noph and written by Jim Krieg, the movie stars the original voice cast of Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo and Fred Jones, Grey Griffin as Daphne Blake, and Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers. Stephanie D'Abruzzo joins the cast as Velma Dinkley.

The film takes place in a traveling theater, where the gang is invited to watch a show by the great magician, Krudsky the Great, voiced by Wallace Shawn. The mystery begins when the headlining act, the Galestorm Sisters, mysteriously disappear right before their performance. The gang quickly agrees to help the theater manager get to the bottom of the strange happenings.

The group begins their investigation by examining the notes left behind by the young diarist, Colonel Beauregard duPont, who was the last person to see the Galestorm Sisters. The notes provide clues to the location of a hidden treasure map that leads to the cursed treasure of Gnarlybeard the Pirate. The map is said to contain the power to bring a back the dead.

As the gang works to solve the mystery, they encounter several fun obstacles, including a creepy crawl through a dark cave and a wild ride on a runaway mine cart. Along the way, they reunite with some old friends, including the fan-favorite villain, the Black Knight Ghost.

"Scooby-Doo! Adventures: The Mystery Map" is a fun and exciting movie that is sure to appeal to both old fans and new ones alike. The plot keeps the viewer engaged from start to finish, with plenty of twists and turns along the way. The animation is beautifully done, with bright colors and vivid characters that stay true to the original feel and style of the Scooby-Doo franchise.

Fans of the original cartoon will appreciate the attention to detail given to the characters' personalities and quirks. Velma is still the smart and logical thinker of the group, Fred is always the leader, Daphne has her moments of bravery, and Shaggy and Scooby are still the loveable and cowardly duo that keep the humor rolling.

But what truly sets this movie apart from past iterations of the franchise is the addition of musical numbers. There are six fun and catchy songs throughout the movie, each with its unique style and choreography. The songs add a whole new element to the film, making it stand out from any other Scooby-Doo movie in the past.
