Satyameva Jayate is an Indian action film from 2008. The film focuses on a traffic cop who comes across the son of a politician who brazenly commits murder in the middle of the day. When the low-level officer tries to bring the politically-affluent criminal to justice, he repeatedly encounters roadblocks from the bought influence of his superior officers. Frustrated that his position of authority seems to be nothing more than superficial, the traffic cop enlists help from a thug in order to return law and order to the city. Satyameva Jayate features all of its dialogue in the Bengali language.
