Satta is a Bollywood political drama movie that released in 2003. The movie features Raveena Tandon, Atul Kulkarni, and Shri Vallabh Vyas in lead roles. Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and produced by Sahara One Motion Pictures, Satta is a story of a woman who enters into politics and the challenges she faces. The movie starts with Anuradha Sehgal played by Raveena Tandon, a college student, who is the daughter of a political leader, Vijay Sehgal. She is in love with a journalist called Shekhar played by Sameer Dharmadhikari. Shekhar is opposed to Anuradha's father's way of politics and urges her to stay away from the world of politics.

One day, Anuradha's father is shot dead and her brother, Prithvi (Atul Kulkarni), takes over the reins of the party. He is then arrested and sent to jail on charges of corruption. Anuradha is left alone to fend for herself and her family. She decides to enter into politics to clear her father's name and fulfill his dream of bringing about a change in society.

Anuradha has to face many challenges as a woman in politics. She faces opposition from within the party and from other political parties. The movie also reflects the patriarchal mindset prevalent in the Indian political system.

Anuradha meets a veteran politician called Yograj Shukla played by Shri Vallabh Vyas. Yograj Shukla helps her establish herself in the political arena. He becomes Anuradha's mentor and guides her in every step of her political career. Yograj's character is also shown to be conflicted as he wrestles with his conscience to choose between supporting Anuradha's fight for justice or staying true to the corrupt ways of his party.

The movie depicts the dirty politics, corruption, and power struggles that are prevalent in Indian politics. Anuradha has to navigate through all these challenges to fulfill the dreams of her father and bring about a change in society.

Raveena Tandon delivers a brilliant performance as a woman who fights against all odds to establish herself in the male-dominated world of politics. She portrays the character of Anuradha with conviction and sincerity. Atul Kulkarni, who plays her brother, also delivers a powerful performance as a man who is torn between his duty towards his family and his own principles.

The movie also has some great music composed by Shamir Tandon. The song "O Sajna" sung by Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghoshal still remains popular among music lovers.

To sum it up, Satta is a must-watch movie for those who are interested in politics and its intricacies. The movie is well-directed, well-acted, and offers a glimpse into the world of Indian politics. It is a thought-provoking movie that leaves a lasting impact on the viewer's mind.
