Rock Jocks is a 2012 sci-fi comedy film directed by Paul Seetachitt. The film stars Andrew Bowen, Felicia Day, Justin Chon, and a number of other talented actors. The story of Rock Jocks follows a group of misfit employees working for the United States government at a top-secret facility housing a massive asteroid-blasting laser. These individuals are tasked with the important duty of protecting the earth from threats from outer space. However, despite the seriousness of their mission, the members of this team are anything but serious. They are a group of goofy, outlandish characters who spend most of their time engaging in childish pranks and bickering with one another.

The team's leader is Kevin Jacobi, played by Andrew Bowen. Jacobi is a well-meaning, if somewhat ineffectual, team leader who is constantly trying to keep the peace between his unruly subordinates. His second-in-command is Donna, played by Felicia Day. Donna is a super-smart astrophysicist who is the only member of the team who takes her job seriously. She is constantly frustrated by the antics of her co-workers but also feels a sense of responsibility for them.

Other members of the team include Jimmy, played by Justin Chon, who is the resident slacker and prankster. There is also Barry, played by Gerry Bednob, who is the team's resident oddball. Rounding out the team is Rick Overton's character, who is a scientist specializing in alien communication and appears to be perpetually on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

The film centers around a series of mishaps that occur when the team is tasked with testing a new missile targeting system. As is par for the course with this group, things quickly go awry, leading to a series of hilarious and chaotic circumstances. Along the way, the team is forced to confront a number of challenges, including a glitchy AI system, an impending asteroid collision, and their own personal shortcomings.

Despite the ludicrous premise, Rock Jocks manages to be both funny and endearing. The cast of characters is charming and likable, even when they are being obnoxious or immature. The film is full of unapologetically goofy humor that is sure to strike a chord with fans of movies like Galaxy Quest or Spaceballs.

At its core, Rock Jocks is a film about the importance of teamwork and the power of friendship. Despite their many flaws, the members of this team ultimately come together to face their challenges and save the world. Along the way, they learn lessons about responsibility, leadership, and the true meaning of heroism.

Overall, Rock Jocks is a delightful film for anyone looking for a silly, lighthearted comedy with a sci-fi twist. Its quirky characters and irreverent humor are sure to put a smile on your face, and its messages of positivity and teamwork are both inspiring and uplifting. If you're a fan of offbeat comedies and sci-fi spoofs, this film is definitely worth checking out.

Rock Jocks is a 2012 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 31 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.2.
