The film focuses on a group of king's knights in a fantasy realm who are each individually tasked with retrieving a specific ring from the lords of differently themed places within the kingdom. The green knight is tasked with retrieving the ring held by the forest lord, who guards the ring with a series of animal fighters who do battle against the knight. The red knight is tasked with journeying into the lava lakes to fight the red dragon to obtain the fire ring, which controls all instances of fire in the kingdom. These champions set forth on their quest.
