Ring of Darkness is a 2004 horror-thriller movie starring Adrienne Barbeau, Stephen Martines, and Jeremy Jackson. The movie revolves around a rock band named "The Night Owl" who, in search of fame and fortune, signs up for a reality show competition. However, as they enter the isolated Gothic castle, they realize that this competition is not a regular one, and they might not make it out alive.

The Night Owl, comprising of lead singer Victor (Stephen Martines), guitarist Bebe (Ryan Starr), drummer Miles (Andrew Levitas), and bassist Heather (Sebastian Bach), is coerced into participating in a reality show competition called "Bite Me." The competition requires the band members to stay in an isolated castle and record an album while the producers keep adding challenges to the mix.

As soon as the band members enter the castle, strange and eerie things start happening to them. Victor's nightmares become a reality, and Bebe keeps seeing the ghost of a little girl, who claims to have been murdered in the castle. Furthermore, the castle's caretaker, Hildie (Adrienne Barbeau), seems to have sinister motives for being there, and the show's producer, Rex (Jeremy Jackson), keeps pushing the limits of the challenges to dangerous levels.

As the competition progresses, the challenges become more dangerous and life-threatening, and the band members start to realize that there is something evil in the castle. The Night Owl must come together and solve the mystery behind the castle before they become victims of the sinister force.

Ring of Darkness is a blood-curdling horror-thriller movie that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. The movie's setting is perfect for a horror movie, with the dark and ominous castle adding to the overall chilling effect of the movie. The tension builds up gradually throughout the movie, and the climax is as terrifying as it gets.

The acting performances from the entire cast are top-notch. Stephen Martines, as Victor, does an excellent job of portraying a lead singer struggling with personal demons. Ryan Starr, as Bebe, brings a certain charm and vulnerability to her character, making her the audience's favorite. And, Sebastian Bach, as Heather, brings the much-needed comic relief to the movie.

Adrienne Barbeau, as Hildie, is just outstanding. She brings a spooky and sinister vibe to her character, making her the perfect caretaker of the castle. Jeremy Jackson, as Rex, is convincing as the show's producer, who will do anything for ratings.

The movie's background score further enhances the creepiness of the setting, and the sound effects are spot on. The special effects used in the movie are commendable, and the gruesome scenes are not for the faint-hearted.

Overall, Ring of Darkness is a must-watch for horror-thriller enthusiasts. It has a gripping storyline, a fitting cast, and terrifying suspense that leaves the audience wanting more.
