Watch Rent Control

This drama/comedy is an extreme example of how difficult it can be to get an apartment in New York City. It is the story of a young writer, Leonard Junger, who is desperate to find a place in Manhattan so that he can reunite his family. His wife and daughter left him and he is determined to get them back, but first he must find a place for them all to live. He meets up with a drunken writer friend who tells him of a mysterious new book that he is writing. Leonard uses this information in a desperate attempt to get his apartment.
