About the excesses of a late sixties rock star-turned-recluse, Roger Bannerman. Despite having effectively retired, Bannerman is stalked by an unhinged fan who is determined to re-launch his career no matter what it takes. The fan kidnaps Bannerman and imprisons him in a basement studio where he does everything he can to persuade the star to make music.
