Red Princess Blues: Genesis is a 2011 anime movie that follows the character of Mary (Holly Fields), a former assassin who is haunted by her past and seeks redemption for her actions. The movie is set in a dystopian future in which the world is controlled by a powerful corporation known as the Kurosawa Group. As the movie begins, we see Mary living in a run-down apartment building in the heart of the city. She spends her days working as a waitress at a nearby diner and trying to forget her past by drinking copious amounts of alcohol. However, Mary's past soon catches up with her when a group of assassins come looking for her.

Mary soon finds herself being hunted by these assassins, and she is forced to fight for her life. However, as she fights, she begins to uncover dark secrets about the Kurosawa Group and their plans for the future. Mary soon learns that she is not alone in her fight, as she is joined by a mysterious stranger known only as the Stranger (Lance Henriksen), and a young girl named Alice (Alejandra Morin).

Together, the three of them embark on a mission to unravel the conspiracy that threatens to destroy their world. They must battle against the Kurosawa Group, their deadly assassins, and even their own personal demons.

The animation in Red Princess Blues: Genesis is stunning, with vivid colors and fast-paced action sequences that keep the viewer engaged throughout the movie. The characters are well-developed, with Mary being a particularly interesting and complex protagonist. She is a flawed character who is haunted by her past, but who is also fiercely determined to right her wrongs and make amends for her past deeds.

Lance Henriksen also delivers a strong performance as the Stranger, a mysterious individual who seems to have his own secrets and motivations. Alejandra Morin brings a level of innocence and vulnerability to the movie as Alice, a young girl who is caught up in the dangerous world of assassins and intrigue.

The movie is not without its flaws, however. At times, the plot can be confusing and hard to follow, especially for viewers who are not familiar with the anime genre. Additionally, some of the characters can be one-dimensional or underdeveloped, which can make it hard to connect with them on an emotional level.

Despite these drawbacks, Red Princess Blues: Genesis is a thrilling and exciting anime movie that is sure to appeal to fans of the genre. The action sequences are intense and well-choreographed, while the characters are complex and interesting.
