Quality Time is a dystopian drama/thriller in a future where the icecaps have melted and overpopulation has turned the country into a military dictatorship. The main character is Stewart Savage who is a delusional psychopath. Stewart keeps trying to see the world optimistically, despite the bleak reality around him. Quality time is a dark melodrama where reality is, at times, difficult to discern from delusions as we're drawn into the world of Stewart. It has a deliberately claustrophobic feel.

Fans of dystopian or dark psychodramas should enjoy this film. Viewers who dislike a grim tone should take heed.
