Watch Pyar Ka Devta

Pyar Ka Devta is a 1990 Bollywood romantic drama film, directed by Kovelamudi Bapayya and starring Mithun Chakraborty, Madhuri Dixit, and Bharat Bhushan in lead roles. The movie tells the story of a rich and happy-go-lucky man named Vicky (Mithun Chakraborty), who falls in love with a poor village girl named Radha (Madhuri Dixit). The movie's plot thickens when Radha's father fixes her marriage with her cousin (Gulshan Grover) to improve their financial situation. Radha is forced to marry him, although she is in love with Vicky. Vicky is heartbroken, but he decides to help Radha, and they plan to elope. However, Vicky is caught by the police, and Radha's father disowns her. Vicky is jailed, and Radha is forced to marry her cousin.

The second half of the film follows Vicky's journey in the jail, where he is mentally and physically tortured. He meets a fellow inmate who teaches him about life and love. Meanwhile, Radha's husband dies due to a snake bite, and she starts working as a laborer to support herself. Vicky is released from the jail after serving his term and goes to find Radha. He doesn't know that she is now a widow and is shocked to see her working as a laborer. Radha is hesitant to start a new life with Vicky as she believes that she has lost her respect and dignity because of her past.

The movie's climax shows Vicky and Radha overcoming all the obstacles and uniting despite their differences. Vicky proves himself to be an ideal partner who respects and understands Radha's struggles. They overcome society's judgment to start a new life together, and the movie ends on a positive note.
