Pulijanmam is an awarding winning film that tells the story of a local play that seeks to interpret the role of the gods in day to day life. Pulijanmam is a folk god in the Pulayas. This god was supposedly the master of martial arts and once transformed into a tiger. Prakashan is a high school graduate that works hard everyday as a farmer. He decides to hold a play about Pulijanmam as part of the local arts club. He does a great deal of research and the town becomes quite excited about his work.
