She meets a young man named Ramesh (played by Prem Chopra) who is working with the farmers to fight against the landlord. They start working together and soon fall in love.

As the story progresses, it becomes clear that Vijay's obsession with Shabnam is not going to end well. He becomes increasingly possessive and violent towards her. Shabnam starts feeling trapped and scared for her life. She turns to Ramesh for help and they come up with a plan to get rid of Vijay.

The movie ends with a thrilling climax, where Shabnam and Ramesh find themselves in grave danger. Will they be able to escape Vijay's evil plans and start a new life together?
