Power - Unlimited is a 2014 Indian action-drama film directed by K. S. Ravindra, also known as Bobby, and stars Ravi Teja, Hansika Motwani, and Regina Cassandra in leading roles. The movie is produced by Rockline Venkatesh and features music composed by S. Thaman. The film is a remake of the 2013 Tamil film, Raja Rani, and tells the story of a young man's journey to find love and fulfillment in his life.
The film opens with a young couple, Baldev Sahay aka Billa (Ravi Teja) and Bhagya Lakshmi aka Shruti (Hansika Motwani), being chased down by goons. The couple, who have just gotten married, are on the run as they had eloped against the wishes of their respective families. The goons eventually catch up with them and kill Billa, leaving Bhagya Lakshmi alone and heartbroken.
The story then shifts to the present day, where Billa's lookalike, Ravi Teja (Ravi Teja), is introduced. Ravi Teja is a young man who lives with his mother (Kota Srinivasa Rao) and younger sister (Jiyana Deshpande). He is shown to be a carefree person who spends most of his time hanging out with his friends and indulging in petty crimes to make quick money.
One day, Ravi Teja meets Hamsa Nandini (Regina Cassandra), a young woman who he falls in love with at first sight. However, Hamsa is engaged to a wealthy businessman, Anwar (Brahmanandam), and is also the daughter of a powerful politician, Veerendra (Mukesh Rishi).
Despite the odds stacked against him, Ravi Teja decides to pursue Hamsa and win her over. With the help of his friends and his wits, he sets out to impress Hamsa and also begins to train himself to become a better person.
As the story progresses, it is revealed that Ravi Teja's life is closely intertwined with Bhagya Lakshmi's. Through a series of flashbacks, the audience is shown the tragic events that led to Baldev's death and Bhagya Lakshmi's subsequent transformation into a strong, independent woman.
The film moves at a brisk pace, and the action scenes are well choreographed. Ravi Teja's performance is notable, and he does justice to both his characters - the carefree Ravi Teja and the serious Baldev.
Hansika Motwani and Regina Cassandra both deliver decent performances, but their roles are limited, and they don't have much to do other than being the love interests of the male lead.
The music by S. Thaman is average and doesn't leave a lasting impression. However, the background score is engaging and adds to the overall impact of the film.
The cinematography by Arthur A. Wilson is top-notch, and he manages to capture the essence of the story through his visuals.
Overall, Power - Unlimited is an enjoyable film that has its heart in the right place. The movie has its moments of humor, romance, and drama, and while it may not be the most original film, it still manages to entertain. The film is a must-watch for Ravi Teja fans and those who enjoy action-dramas with a romantic twist.
