A small, western town is the target of an elaborate money-making scheme. Two con men convince the townspeople to contribute their hard earned cash into a railroad fund. The patrons who donate hope that if a railroad is built by their town then all of the local businesses will prosper. Unfortunately, it is a scam. The townsfolk will have to wise up to the scammer's plan or risk losing all of their money and get nothing in return.
