Point Doom is a 2000 action/thriller movie starring Richard Grieco as John, a surfer who has retired from the sport and now runs a small bar in Malibu. One day, a man named Frankie, played by Andrew Dice Clay, enters the bar and offers John a job as a courier, transporting drugs for him. John initially refuses, but when Frankie threatens his friend and former surfing partner, Tony, played by Zach Galligan, John is forced to accept.

During his first delivery, John is pulled over by the police and is arrested. He is given a choice by the police: to cooperate with them and become an informant, or to face a long prison sentence.
