When you dedicate yourself to a just cause and that cause ends, what do you do with the rest of your life? What do you do after your glory days? Meryl Streep portrays Susan Traherne, a British woman who is grappling with that question in the slow, fascinating film "Plenty." Traherne was a member of the French Resistance during World War II, dealing with intrigue and constant danger as the partisans risked being captured and killed by the Nazi occupiers. After the war, she can't forget those heady times and resume a housewife's domestic duties; so she begins to unravel.
