The film is known for its memorable dialogues, powerful performances, and intense action sequences. It also stars Bhanu Priya and Soundarya in pivotal roles. The movie revolves around the Pedarayudu, the village head, who is a prominent figure in the locality owing to his immense wealth and power. Pedarayudu's word is law, and his family is held in high esteem by the villagers. However, things take an unexpected turn when Pedarayudu's younger brother Narasimha, played by Raja Sekhar, decides to contest against him in the upcoming village elections. Narasimha believes that Pedarayudu is corrupt and that the villagers need a new leader who will work for their welfare.

This opposition from his own brother shakes Pedarayudu's belief in himself and his power. The family is soon divided, with some supporting Pedarayudu while others back Narasimha. Meanwhile, a local thug, played by Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, is creating havoc in the village, and Narasimha is blamed for it.

In the end, Pedarayudu must decide whether to continue his quest for power or work for the betterment of his people.

Mohan Babu delivers a brilliant performance as Pedarayudu, portraying his character's arrogance, anger, and vulnerability flawlessly.
