On Halloween night, Mike and his eight-year-old son Charlie (Jack Fulton) are trick-or-treating when Charlie suddenly disappears. Despite Mike's frantic search, he is unable to find Charlie and his son remains missing. A year later, Mike is still searching for Charlie and is devastated by his loss.
