This documentary is centered on one electrical appliance. Since the invention of the first doorbell buzzer, the subsequent invention of the personal vibrator, based on the buzzer, transformed our society more than we may ever know. Electrical apparatus have so affected womankind, but none more so than the lowly vibrating wand. Before the invention of the vibrator, women were taught that the experience of an orgasm was the physical expression of inward hysteria.
