Mahant is a Hindu priest who has lived the better part of his life working very hard towards achieving a state of inner peace and gaining the trust of the community around him. He happens to know the location of a buried treasure that holds an invaluable amount of treasure. One day he is captured by a group of ruthless thieves who only have one agenda on their minds, and that is to beat the priest mercilessly until he reveals the location of the treasure. The criminals are on the verge of killing the priest until he is finally saved by a man named Shankar.
