Paris-Manhattan is a 2012 French romantic comedy directed by Sophie Lellouche, starring Alice Taglioni, Patrick Bruel, and Marine Delterme. The film follows the story of a young woman named Alice (Taglioni), who is obsessed with the works of Woody Allen and his philosophy on life and love. She is a happily unmarried pharmacist who believes that the perfect man for her is still out there, somewhere.

Alice's family and friends worry about her single status as she reaches her thirties, but Alice is not concerned. She has a poster of Woody Allen hanging on her bedroom wall, and his movies are her guiding light in life. She prescribes Woody's films to her patients, gives his books as gifts, and even has conversations with him by talking to his poster.

In the meantime, Alice's sister, Helene (Delterme), is getting married, and Alice is tasked with designing the wedding invitations. Helene's fiancé, Francois (Louis-Do de Lencquesaing), is a friend of Victor (Bruel), a charming and successful businessman. Victor also happens to be a patient of Alice, who cannot help but be drawn to his wit and charm.

Victor becomes intrigued by Alice's love for Woody Allen, and he begins to suggest some of his own favorite films. Alice initially resists his overtures, but Victor persists, and they start to develop a friendship. However, Alice's doubts start to creep in. She is convinced that her perfect man should embody the qualities of Woody Allen, particularly his neuroticism and his obsessive nature.

Alice's conviction that she is meant to be with someone who is like Woody Allen leads her on a series of misguided dates with men who she thinks could be her perfect match. The results, however, are comical and disastrous.

As Alice continues to explore her desire for her perfect man, she comes to realize that she may have been looking in the wrong places. Victor, it turns out, embodies all the qualities that Alice has been searching for, but in his own unique way. As Alice and Victor's friendship deepens, they both begin to realize that they have feelings for one another, but it seems that the timing is wrong.

The film is shot beautifully, and the stunning Parisian skyline provides a gorgeous backdrop for the story. The performances are excellent, especially Taglioni, who brings a quirky charm to her character. Bruel is also excellent as Victor, who is a charismatic and endearing character.

Paris-Manhattan is a charming and humorous film about the search for true love and the realization that sometimes, the perfect person might not be who you expect. The film pays homage to Woody Allen's films throughout, and his influence is evident in the witty dialogue and the neurotic nature of Alice's character. The film is a delightful romantic comedy that will warm your heart and make you laugh.

Overall, Paris-Manhattan is a lighthearted and enjoyable film that will leave you feeling good. It's perfect for fans of Woody Allen's films, as well as for anyone who is looking for a sweet and funny romantic comedy.

Paris-Manhattan is a 2012 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 17 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.1 and a MetaScore of 36.
