It is Sonny’s birthday and he is not nearly as excited as his younger sister. He wants a special gift from his father, a motorcycle. His father ignores his request and instead purchases a puppy. His father has an ulterior motive, the fact that he can take the dog hunting with him. Sonny does not even like dogs. He decides to leave home and suddenly comes across a puppy that tries to win his heart. The dog might be successful, but he has to work awfully hard for Sonny’s love. The dog might give up on him before it is all over.
