Overexposed is a thriller film released in 2018, directed by Conor Allyn and starring Mary Katherine Duhon, Marguerite Moreau, and David Maldonado. The story follows a struggling photographer, Holly, who wants to make it big in the industry. However, life has been tough for her as she lives in a small town and cannot seem to get the right opportunities to showcase her talent. One day, she gets a chance to photograph a famous philanthropist, Conrad, at his residence. She grabs the opportunity and starts clicking pictures. However, little does she know that things are about to take a turn for the worse.
During her shoot, Holly discovers a hidden safe with a few documents that implicate Conrad in a criminal conspiracy. Holly is shocked to see the documents and decides to capture them through her camera. She manages to click a few pictures before she is caught by Conrad's son, Nathan, who is also involved in the conspiracy. Nathan confronts Holly and takes her camera away before warning her to delete any evidence that she has. Holly knows that the documents can expose Conrad's true intentions, and so, she decides to play smart.
Holly starts investigating into the matter and reaches out to the authorities. However, things take a dangerous turn when Nathan, Conrad's son, starts following her and trying to stop her. Holly realizes that she is in grave danger and decides to flee from the town along with the evidence. However, that's easier said than done, as Nathan and his men are always one step ahead of her. Holly tries to use her photographic skills to mislead Nathan and gather more evidence.
As Holly tries to escape with the evidence, she must also confront her past and come to terms with the fact that she had ignored several red flags in her previous cases, leading to tragic outcomes.
