Ouija is a supernatural horror movie released in 2014, directed by Stiles White and produced by Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes production company. The plot of the movie revolves around a group of teenagers who are trying to uncover the secrets behind the mysterious deaths of their friends after using a Ouija board, a popular tool used for contacting spirits.

The movie starts with a young girl named Debbie (Shelley Hennig) playing with a Ouija board in her attic with her friend Laine (Olivia Cooke). As they try to contact a spirit, the two girls get scared and end the session. That same night, Debbie's house catches fire, and she falls to her death. Laine is devastated by the news and decides to use the Ouija board with her friends to try and contact Debbie's spirit.

Together with her friends, Isabelle (Bianca A. Santos), Pete (Douglas Smith), Trevor (Daren Kagasoff), and Sarah (Ana Coto), they try to reach out to Debbie using the board. However, they soon realize that they have awakened something sinister and dangerous that is now haunting them.

As they continue to play the game, they discover that they are not alone and that Debbie's spirit is not the only one they have contacted. They find themselves being hunted by malevolent spirits and are forced to confront their worst fears to save themselves and their loved ones.

Throughout the movie, the group of friends tries to unravel the mystery behind the supernatural occurrences and uncovers a dark web of secrets and lies that have been kept hidden for years. They soon realize that the Ouija board is a portal to a world of terror and that they have unleashed a powerful force that may destroy them all.

Ouija is a modern take on the classic horror movie tropes, with jump scares, eerie sound design, and suspenseful plot twists. The movie relies heavily on its visual effects and cinematography to create an unsettling atmosphere, and it succeeds in creating some genuinely scary moments.

The cast of the movie does a great job in their roles, with Olivia Cooke leading the charge as Laine, the protagonist of the story. She is an empathetic and believable lead, and the audience can easily empathize with her character's struggles. Ana Coto, Bianca A. Santos, Douglas Smith, and Daren Kagasoff also deliver solid performances, with each character bringing their unique strengths and weaknesses to the story.

Overall, Ouija is a decent horror movie that is sure to entertain fans of the genre. While it may not be the most original or groundbreaking movie, it does a good job of delivering the scares and is definitely worth a watch. If you're looking for a fun and spooky movie to curl up with on a dark night, then Ouija is a perfect choice.
