Oohalu Gusagusalade is a heartwarming romantic comedy that follows the lives of Venky (Srinivas Avasarala) and Prabhakar (Bhadram) who are close friends. Venky is a happy-go-lucky guy who leads an ordinary life working in a small travel agency. He dreams of marrying a beautiful girl who he hopes to find soon. On the other hand, Prabhakar is a software engineer who is shy and reserved when it comes to girls.

One day, Venky sees Prabhakar’s cousin Nandini (Rashi Khanna) walking on the street and is smitten with her. He manages to befriend her and soon finds out that she is an aspiring film actress who is hoping to make it big in the industry. Despite her ambitions, Nandini is a sweet and down-to-earth girl who reciprocates Venky's feelings for her.

As their friendship blossoms, Venky and Nandini begin to spend more time together. However, their romance is threatened when Nandini's father (Krishna Bhagavan), who is a well-known film director, arranges her engagement to an NRI guy. With the wedding date drawing closer, Venky must come up with a plan to win Nandini's heart before it's too late.

The movie takes its time to introduce us to the characters, their quirks, and the world they inhabit. The first half of the movie is light-hearted and breezy, with plenty of funny moments and witty banter between the characters. The romantic track between Venky and Nandini is understated and charming, with the two sharing some lovely moments that feel genuine and spontaneous.

The second half of the movie takes a more serious turn, as Venky must navigate his way through a maze of obstacles to win over Nandini's father and convince him to accept their love. This section of the movie has a bit more drama and tension, but it is handled with sensitivity and nuance.

Srinivas Avasarala, who also wrote and directed the movie, is fantastic as Venky. He brings a lot of warmth and charisma to the character, making him the most likeable person in the movie. Rashi Khanna is equally impressive as Nandini, delivering a nuanced performance that captures the character's innocence and determination. Bhadram provides some comic relief as Venky's friend, while Krishna Bhagavan is convincing as Nandini's strict and stubborn father.

The music by Kalyani Koduri is another highlight of the movie, with some lovely melodies that capture the romantic mood of the story. The cinematography by Venkat C Dileep is also impressive, capturing the beauty of the locations and the emotions of the characters with equal finesse.

Overall, Oohalu Gusagusalade is a delightful movie that will leave a smile on your face. It may not be groundbreaking in terms of plot or narrative structure, but it is a well-made and well-acted movie that captures the magic of falling in love. It is a movie that one can enjoy with family and friends alike.

Oohalu Gusagusalade is a 2014 comedy with a runtime of 2 hours and 10 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 7.6.
