Watch One Soldier

"Orfeu" is a half hour film told from the perspective of an executed Civil War veteran whose job was to perform for a general. The veteran came home skeptical of life's reason and sought answers. While he tries to explain his mentality to his wife, she merely questions his sanity. Believing that people influence art too strongly, the veteran plays music by drawing scores on his glasses and playing stars as music notes. He also aspires to reach God, but by whispering to him outside of a church. After several hints, the audience learns of why the man was executed.
