One After Another, also known as Uno dopo l'altro, is a Spaghetti Western movie directed by Nick Nostro, released in 1968. The plot revolves around a former Confederate officer, named Steve McGowan (played by Richard Harrison), who is on a revenge mission against his former comrade, who betrayed him during the war. The movie opens with a scene depicting Steve McGowan, who is released from prison after seven years. He was falsely accused of stealing a diamond shipment and spent seven long years in prison. Ironically, the same comrade, Mortimer (played by Paolo Gozlino), who falsely accused him is at its release, alongside with the local sheriff.

As McGowan sets out on his journey to find Mortimer and take revenge, he meets a band of outlaws led by a woman named Maria (played by Pamela Tudor). They team up with Steve in his pursuit of Mortimer, who is now a wealthy landowner, and head to his ranch.

As they approach the ranch, they are ambushed by Mortimer's men, and their horses are stolen. Now, they have to continue on foot, and this leads to a brutal desert trek in their quest to reach Mortimer's ranch.

Throughout the movie, there are several action-packed gunfights, horse chases, and a lot of tension between Steve and Mortimer. The latter is portrayed as a ruthless businessman who wants to get richer at any cost. He has no qualms about killing anyone that stands in his way. Steve, on the other hand, is determined to exact revenge at any cost, even if it means sacrificing his own life.

The film isn't just a series of shootouts and action sequences, though. There is also a subplot regarding Maria's relationship with her band of outlaws. She harbors feelings for one of the members, Paco, but he is loyal to his leader, and the tension rises between the two. There is also a deeper subplot regarding the aftermath of the Civil War and how it affects the main characters' actions.

One After Another has a gritty and rugged feel that is similar to many other Spaghetti Westerns from the era. As with many movies of this genre, the characters are often morally ambiguous, and it's not always easy to determine who is good and who is bad. The pacing of the movie is slow at times, but this is typical of Spaghetti Westerns, which were often more concerned with building tension and atmosphere than telling a straightforward story.

Overall, One After Another is an enjoyable movie for fans of Spaghetti Westerns. The film boasts strong performances from the cast, particularly Harrison and Tudor, and it delivers plenty of action and suspense. The movie also has a great soundtrack, with music that sets the tone for the film perfectly. If you're a fan of the genre, you won't want to miss this one.

One After Another is a 1970 western with a runtime of 1 hour and 38 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.2.
