Nurse Betty is an American comedy/drama/crime/romance film. The film centers around Betty a Kansas City waitress who dreams of becoming a nurse. Betty suffers a major shock when she sees her husband murdered before her. The shock leaves Betty delusional. She believes that her soap opera star crush, who plays a doctor on the show, is her fiancee and sets off to Los Angeles to be reunited with him at the hospital where he works. Betty is also being tracked by her husband's murderers looking for drugs he stole which happen to be stashed in her trunk.
