This is a dark comedy movie. Louise has just had to move her mother into her home because her mother’s apartment was condemned. At work, her boss is trying to get her to accept an important promotion. It would mean a move from Los Angeles to New York. She is not sure her mother, who suffers from bi-polar disease, is up to that challenge. She has just started seeing a barber. She has a feeling this relationship may be a lasting one.
