Noel is a timeless holiday film that reminds viewers of the miracles that are possible when strangers cross paths on Christmas Eve. The story begins with Mike Riley and his fianc�, Nina Vasquez. The couple is madly in love, but Mike's overbearing jealousy and fear that he will lose Nina drives her to the breaking point, and she leaves.

Enter next, Rose Collins, a talented book publisher whose divorce has left her lonely. She visits her mother frequently in a hospital, as she has Alzheimer's disease. While seeing her mother, she also walks across the hall to another patient's room and visits him often, as he never has visitors. During one of these visits, a new visitor arrives at this strange patient's room, Charlie Boyd. The two hit it off and begin spending time together romantically. Nevertheless, Charlie has a secret that is too much for Rose to take.

Mike eats lunch in a diner and encounters Arte Venzula. It is not long after that Arte makes Mike uncomfortable, and he leaves. Later in the evening, Mike, who is a police officer receives a call and travels to the scene. It is Arte that he finds. Arte believes that Mike is his wife he lost years before, who he loves and misses so tremendously. As Arte tells Mike about the life, he had with his wife, Mike begins to reflect upon Nina and his recent and devastating behavior.

On a street corner, Rose and Nina meet, just outside of Nina's family home. The two begin to talk, and Nina invites Rose in for dinner with her family. She accepts graciously and enters the home simply to leave promptly afterward. Nina goes after her and they have further discussions about their lives, as Nina tells Rose that she just discovered that she is pregnant with Mike's child.

Noel is a 2004 drama with a runtime of 1 hour and 36 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.1 and a MetaScore of 29.
