Watch New Blood

Written and Directed by Michael Hurst; New Blood is a suspense and action packed movie. Starring John Hurt playing as Alan White a man who is the father of twins. Desperately willing to do anything to keep his daughter alive he makes a deal with his son. Nick Moran playing as Alan's son Danny White who has turned to the life of crime.

Danny pops up at his father's place after not seeing him for years. He confides to his father about a deal him and his friends have set up. They were supposed to kidnap a wealthy man, if they don't do it they all will be killed. They have already tried once and wasn't able to pull it off. It wasn't as easy as they thought because he was an armed guard. Things went awry and he was accidentally killed. Alan's son Danny was fatally injured and only has a short time to live. Knowing that if they do not somehow make it work all of his friends will be killed.

Alan's daughter is in need of a heart transplant and Danny is a match since he is her twin. So him and his father make a deal to sacrifice their lives to save the one they love. Alan agrees to take the place of the guy his son and friends were told to kidnap. In return Danny will donate his heart to his sister.

Alan doesn't know what will happen once he is kidnapped or if it will even work. There is a possibility that he will die, but he is risking it all just to save his daughter's life. This movie will keep you on your toes and keep tears in your eyes. They are working with very little time and so they don't have too much time to think. If Alan doesn't pull this off he will deal with having to lose both of his children.

New Blood is a 1999 crime movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 38 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.3.
