In this action comedy from New Zealand, Alf and Melissa are a married couple who are homesick for New Zealand. But they arrive back home just as a gas explosion occurs, narrowly escaping death. Alf suspects foul play and reports the incident to police. He becomes even more paranoid when the brakes in his car fail. Alf and Melissa decide to stay at their country property, where a hunter takes aim at them, making Alf more certain than ever that someone is out to kill him. Alf's suspicions are proven right when assassins land by helicopter, sparking a cross-country chase.
