My Stupid Boss 2 is a comedy film released in 2019 from Indonesia, directed by Upi Avianto. The movie stars the same cast as the first film, Reza Rahadian as Bossman, Bunga Citra Lestari as Diana, and Chew Kin Wah as Joko. This sequel is a continuation of the story of Bossman, an incompetent boss, and his employees who are struggling to work under him.

The film revolves around Bossman, who has managed to be successful in his business, PT Karya Indo Cemerlang. However, his employees have not necessarily benefited from his success. They have to deal with his incompetence, his explosive temper, and his lack of respect for their work. The employees decide they cannot take it anymore and band together to try and confront Bossman.

The story takes off from the point where the first film ended, where Bossman's company was facing a huge loss due to his incompetence. In an attempt to save the company, Bossman tries to persuade a potential investor to put their money into his business. Diana, his secretary, attempts to help him, but his mistakes and foolishness end up hindering their chances.

The plot thickens when Diana's father is arrested for embezzlement, and Bossman finds himself in a troublesome situation when he is inadvertently caught up in the middle of the investigation. The story takes viewers through his attempts to clear his name, and in the process, he learns to appreciate the hard work of his employees.

The bond between Bossman and Diana takes on a new light in this sequel. Bossman's misplaced attempts at trying to understand and impress Diana does nothing but stir up trouble for both of them. While at the same time, Diana starts to see Bossman in a new light and begins to realize his positive attributes, something that she missed in the first film.

Another character that is brought into the story is a new worker who is hired by Bossman. He is immediately thrown into the mix with the other characters, particularly Joko, Bossman's assistant, and the one who is always by his side. The new worker brings with him even more chaos as Bossman comes to rely on him, leading the other employees to question what Bossman actually does to contribute to the company's success.

My Stupid Boss 2 is a heartwarming and humorous film that portrays the importance of teamwork, and what happens when communication and trust break down in the workplace. The comedy in the movie is mainly situational, with Bossman making mistakes and facing the consequences of his poor decisions. The jokes are light-hearted, with a touch of slapstick humor, but the movie also manages to convey a message about the importance of respect and appreciation for others.

The film's pacing is quick, with well-timed jokes being delivered frequently. The story moves along at a fast pace, making sure that there is never a dull moment. The director has done an excellent job of keeping the film visually appealing, with some scenes filmed in Singapore, providing a fresh and exciting backdrop.

In summary, My Stupid Boss 2 is a movie that will entertain viewers who enjoy comedy films while still providing a message about teamwork and the importance of respecting one's colleagues. The cast has an excellent chemistry, and they all give a fantastic performance. It's a must-watch film for fans of the first movie and anyone looking for a light-hearted movie with a positive message.
