The Really Truest Truth about Adolf Hitler (2007) is set in December 1944, when a crippled Germany is about to lose World War II. Adolf Hitler is depressed, hiding from his people, a former shadow of the man he once was. Joseph Goebbels believes an impassioned speech from the Fuhrer is needed. Goebbels calls on acting teacher Adolf Grunbaum, a Jew, now snatched out of a concentration camp and into the chancellery. On the big day, Hitler loses his voice and a hidden Grunbaum talks as Hitler lip syncs, but the speech departs from the original with astonishing results.
