In MVP: Most Valuable Primate, the lovable chimpanzee named Jack is forced to leave his natural habitat in Africa after being sold to a research laboratory. However, a quirk of fate soon brings Jack to the doorstep of Steven Westover, who owns a struggling hockey team called the Seattle Simians. Steven sees potential in Jack's impressive hockey skills and decides to train him to join the team in hopes of improving their game and attracting more fans. Despite initial hesitation from the team's captain, Mike, the Simians eventually welcome Jack as their mascot and honorary teammate.
