In high school, Andrea Yates was captain of the swim team and class valedictorian. After graduation, she worked as a registered nurse in a cancer center. On June 20, 2001, she drowned her five children in the family bathtub in the space of an hour. She then called the police. On July 26, 2006, after more than four years of trials, a jury came to its final verdict. Mugshots: Andrea Yates explores the possible motives behind the tragic killings, and shows us how a court case which might seem open-and-shut took so long to come to a close.
Mugshots: Andrea Yates is a 2013 documentary with a runtime of 45 minutes.
