Watch Midnight Mass

Midnight Mass captures the true horror of a vampire invasion, of a small town. Ironically, these blood sucking monsters take residence in the last place you would think possible, a church. Claiming the church as their own they reside there and are even embraced by the priest himself. The church becomes a place where the dead congregate and innocent lives are taken. It is no longer a place where the townspeople can come and pray but a place that is feared and that they avoid at all costs.

The vampires overtake the town one person at a time until it looks like an open grave full of corpses lying everywhere. Terror has spread and the townspeople hide hoping that the vampires won't discover their hiding places. However, because of the vampires' super human strength and keen senses they ultimately kill many of the townspeople. The vampires can hear beating hearts, no matter where the people hide and soon the town is over taken by vampires. The townspeople realize the vampires outnumber them by far and feel the chance for anyone surviving is grim.

As the townspeoples' faith dissipates all truly seems lost until Gwen, one of the people who has had enough, teams up with her friend Father Joe. Determined to rid their town of vampires she and father Joe seek ways to beat the vampires at their own game. The fight is far from easy as many people's lives in the town end in gory bloodshed. The priest becomes the main advocate of the vampires riding the town of people. His powers seems untouchable because he has easily turned the city into a garden of corpses. Gwen and Father Joe still fight. This bloodly brawl takes all the strength they can possible muster, but will it be enough to win the battle between good and evil?
