Watch Merry Men 2

Merry Men 2 is a 2019 Nigerian action-comedy film directed by Moses Inwang and produced by Ayo Makun. The movie stars some of Nollywood’s biggest names including Damilola Adegbite, Alex Asogwa, Regina Daniels, Falz, Jim Iyke, and Ramsey Nouah. The movie serves as a sequel to Merry Men: The Real Yoruba Demons which was released in 2018.

The film opens with the Merry Men, led by Ayo Alesinloye (Ramsey Nouah), returning to action to save Lagos state from a corrupt politician named Dame Maduka (Iretiola Doyle). Dame Maduka has been involved in several corrupt schemes including the embezzlement of public funds, bribery, and the manipulation of the Lagos state governor. In a bid to stop her, the Merry Men with the help of the EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) embark on a daring mission to expose and thwart her plans.

As they embark on this dangerous mission, the Merry Men find themselves in several action-packed sequences including high-speed car chases, gunfights, and explosive heists. The film also has several comedic moments, such as a scene where Inspector Osarobo (Jim Iyke) accidentally gets handcuffed to a prostitute while on a surveillance mission.

However, as the Merry Men dive deeper into their mission, they discover that their enemy, Dame Maduka, is not alone. She has a secret weapon in the form of Isabella (Regina Daniels), a beautiful and deadly assassin who becomes a major thorn in the Merry Men’s side. Isabella is tasked with taking out the Merry Men one by one, leading to a series of epic showdowns between her and the Merry Men.

Despite the challenges they face, the Merry Men are undeterred in their mission to save Lagos state. They are determined to expose and bring down Dame Maduka and her corrupt cohorts. Along the way, they receive help from a number of unexpected sources including a group of physically challenged individuals who prove to be more capable than they appear.
